Dosage Instructions
It's essential to weigh your cat before treatment to ensure correct dosage. Administer Drontal on an empty stomach, with the dosage determined by the cat's weight:
- Cats and kittens up to 2 kg: ½ tablet
- Cats between 2 kg and 4 kg: 1 tablet
- Cats over 4 kg: 1 tablet for every 4 kg of bodyweight
For best results:
- Worm kittens every 2 weeks from 2-12 weeks of age
- From 3-6 months of age, worm monthly
- Worm every 3 months as an adult cat
If you're dealing with a heavy infestation or housing many cats together, it's advisable to seek guidance from a veterinarian.
Precautions
Avoid administering to kittens younger than 2 weeks. Ensure your pet isn't allergic to this medication before treatment.
