How Does Credelio Work? Credelio contains lotilaner, an antiparasitic agent that disrupts chloride ion transfer in the cell membranes of fleas and ticks. Da der Wirkstoff in Credelio für Hunde und Katzen der selbe ist, kann man Credelio für Hunde auch Katzen verabreichen. Man muss nur die Dosierung anpassen. Eine 4 kg schwere Katze benötigt als Mindestdosierung 24 mg Lotilaner, d.h. 70 mg der 900 mg Tablette, die 2.600 mg wiegt.
