Milbemax Allwormer Tablets for Cats
Milbemax Allwormer is designed specifically for cats, offering a comprehensive solution against gastrointestinal worms, including roundworm, hookworm, and tapeworm (inclusive of hydatid tapeworm). Moreover, when administered monthly, it helps prevent heartworm disease in cats. Crafted with two uniquely potent ingredients, it provides a broad spectrum of protection against all intestinal worms. For enhanced safety, Milbemax Allwormer can be combined with topical flea medications like Advantage or Frontline Plus, ensuring your cats remain shielded from both internal and external threats. These beef-flavored tablets are compact compared to many other allwormers and are straightforward to administer orally.
Directions for Use:
- Always weigh your cats before treatment to determine the correct dosage.
- Administer Milbemax orally in a single dose, preferably with or after food.
- Based on weight, choose between small cat tablets (for kittens and cats from 0.5 kg to 2 kg) and larger cat tablets (for cats between 2 and 8 kg).
- For kittens and tiny cats between 0.5 and 1 kg, give half of the small cat tablet. Cats weighing between 2 and 4 kg should receive half of the larger tablet. Cats over 8 kg will require an appropriate combination of the large cat tablets.
- Recommended treatment regimen: Worm kittens every 2 weeks from 2 to 12 weeks of age, monthly from 3 to 6 months, and then every 3 months for adult cats.
Cautions:
Avoid using on kittens younger than 2 weeks. Cats allergic to any component of this medication should not be treated. Using this product on cats already affected by heartworm is not recommended.
Possible Side Effects:
When adhering to the recommended dosage, side effects are seldom reported. Milbemax is approved for kittens as young as 2 weeks and can be combined with other treatments, including flea and tick solutions, and vaccinations.
