Frontline Plus for cats offers a topical 'spot-on' solution designed for the comprehensive treatment and prevention of flea infestations, biting lice, and ticks in both cats and kittens. Notably, it provides protection against the brown dog tick, the American dog tick, lone star tick, and deer ticks - the primary vectors for Lyme disease.

Renowned for its rapid action, Frontline Plus effectively combats re-infestations with adult fleas for a guaranteed month. Furthermore, it obstructs the development of flea eggs, larvae, and pupae originating from any newly acquired adult fleas for an impressive six weeks post-treatment. This product also serves as a remedy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis in felines. Suitable for kittens as young as 8 weeks, it's also safe for breeding, pregnant, and lactating animals. Notably, the product remains effective even after exposure to water, just 24 hours post-application.

Directions for Use

To apply, part your cat's fur and dispense the entire pipette's content (appropriate for up to 7 kg [16 lbs]) directly onto the skin. Choose an area beyond the cat's reach, preferably on the nape. Monthly applications yield the best results.

Cautions

Designed exclusively for external application on cats and kittens over 8 weeks old. Prior to application on medicated, aged, or debilitated animals, or those concurrently treated with other pesticides, seek veterinary guidance. Despite its safety profile for pregnant and lactating animals, note that Frontline Plus is flammable. Store away from open flames and intense heat sources. Direct contact may irritate human eyes and skin, and ingestion may prove harmful. In cases of accidental contact or ingestion, rinse with copious amounts of water, cleanse with soap, and seek immediate medical attention. Cats with a known sensitivity to insecticides or alcohol should avoid Frontline Plus.

Potential Side Effects

Some pets may exhibit transient irritation at the application site. If these or more severe symptoms persist beyond a few days post-application, promptly consult a vet. Rarely observed adverse reactions include localized reactions like scaling, itchiness, redness, or hair loss. In extremely isolated cases, symptoms such as hypersalivation, reversible neurological manifestations, or vomiting have been reported.
