Comfortis™ Plus starts killing fleas in just 30 minutes, providing the added benefit of protection against deadly heartworm and intestinal worms. For immediate relief and month-long protection, it comes as a beef flavoured, chewable tablet. Unlike spot-on treatments, there's no residue that can rub or wash off. This makes Comfortis™ Plus a perfect choice for:

• Dog owners who dislike mess and inconvenience.
• Households with children or other pets.
• Dogs that swim or are washed frequently.
• Dogs with skin conditions requiring topical therapy.

Important Safety Information

Comfortis™ Plus can be administered to puppies from 8 weeks of age. Puppies less than 14 weeks of age may experience an increased rate of vomiting. Seek veterinary advice regarding the use of Comfortis™ Plus in pregnant and lactating females, and in dogs with pre-existing epilepsy. The safe use of Comfortis™ Plus in breeding males has not been evaluated.

Concurrent use of Comfortis™ Plus with high extra-label doses of ivermectin for parasitic mange or demodicosis may be associated with an increased risk of developing neurological signs typically associated with ivermectin toxicity. Comfortis™ Plus should not be administered concurrently with extra-label high doses of macrocyclic lactones. The use of Comfortis™ Plus in dogs suffering from microfilaremia is not recommended. Adverse events can include vomiting, pruritis, lethargy, and diarrhea.

Active Ingredients

Comfortis™ Plus Chewable Tablets contain variable strengths of spinosad + milbemycin oxime for oral administration to dogs. The ingredients interfere with nerve transmission in invertebrates, protecting against heartworm, roundworm, hookworm, and whipworm. The tablets are available in various dosages suitable for dogs of different weights.

Directions For Use

Administer Comfortis™ Plus with food for maximum effectiveness. Dogs may consume it as a treat when offered by the owner just prior to feeding. Alternatively, it can be offered in food or given like other tablet medications during mealtime. Watch your dog for several minutes post administration to ensure the full dose is consumed. If not, re-dose with the full recommended dosage. Tablets should be given orally once a month.
